about

Lyrics by Danny Grimm & Jim Linton

Danny came in with his track virtually fully formed in the shape of a simple acoustic song to "pick you up if you're feeling blue" as he has so aptly said.

I enjoy orchestrating and producing songs that I haven't written. I find it refreshing and I feel a level of objectivity that otherwise I do not have. As I've done before with other projects I tend to push simple acoustic ideas into more challenging sonic landscapes.--MAM

lyrics

Headlong into discontent, lives can sometimes lead
Peering darkly through the glass, sometimes its hard to see You've got blinders on, Obstructed view
All of your empty words can't see me through
So I'm leaving it up to you

Forever is a long long time to be in a masquerade Shed the skin you've been living in
Your confusion soon will fade

Shine on, All of your colors changing Shine on, Can I see you, Can I see The real you

Constant change of situation, slowly wears you down Futility taking over, security never found
you've got blinders on, Obstructed view
All of your empty words can't see me through
So I'm leaving it up to you

Forever is a long long time to be in a masquerade Shed the skin you've been living in
Your confusion soon will fade

Shine on, All of your colors changing Shine on, Can I see you, Can I see The real you
